Ashton College is seeking a qualified Health Information Management Instructor to deliver part-time instruction in our Diploma program. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and have experience teaching online.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering instructional content, leading interactive lectures, and fostering a supportive learning environment. They will also administer assessments, grade student work, and maintain accurate records.
We are looking for an instructor with a strong background in Health Information Management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the field and be fluent in English.
This is a part-time contract position, with approximately 15-20 hours per week. The length of each contract is determined by the length of the course being taught.
In addition to their teaching responsibilities, the instructor will be expected to attend faculty meetings and training sessions as required.
Salary: $38.47 - $57.50 per hour, plus vacation pay
