Capital Ford Lincoln Inc. - Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team at Capital Ford Lincoln Inc. in Regina. As a vital part of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning.
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
  • Inspect and test new vehicles, recording findings to ensure necessary repairs are made.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of servicing vehicles and learn new technology and maintenance practices.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to participate in in-dealership training.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
