Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at New Flyer. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of the assigned Technical Section within the Engineering Groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise team members to ensure completion of tasks to New Flyer standards.
  • Balance task assignments to meet deadlines.
  • Complete engineering design tasks to support production.
  • Coordinate own tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Create engineering designs to meet customer specifications and production requirements.
  • Coordinate trial installations to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Complete engineering drawings and release documentation.
  • Provide engineering support to various departments.
  • Interact with vendors and customers on design-related issues.
  • Check and/or approve engineering documents.
Requirements
  • Registered Professional Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Design-related experience of a minimum of 4 years.
  • Strong Unigraphics skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to motivate employees and train new employees.
  • Ability to use MS Office, Word, and Excel.
