Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Distribution Associate I to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization.

About the Role:
  • Receive, Unload, and Process Incoming Shipments: Accurately receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly documented.
  • Pick, Pack, and Prepare Outgoing Orders: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders according to customer specifications, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory within the warehouse and optimize workflow.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Environment: Ensure that the warehouse remains clean, organized, and free from hazards, adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Perform Inventory Counts and Reconciliations: Regularly conduct inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of stock levels, identifying any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Utilize Inventory Management Systems: Effectively utilize inventory management systems to track and update product information, ensuring seamless communication with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with team members to optimize warehouse layout and improve efficiency, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist in Identifying and Resolving Discrepancies: Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in inventory or shipping documentation, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a strong emphasis on education and training.
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with a proven track record of success and growth.
  • Inventory Management Skills: Proficiency in using inventory management systems and basic computer skills (MS Office), with a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities, with a capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Stamina: Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items for extended periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and experience, plus additional benefits and perks to support your success and well-being.
