Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at A&W. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are working efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting expectations.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we are providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we are tracking our performance and making data-driven decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the food service industry.
- Language: English.
- Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity. As a Shift Manager, you will be required to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 25 kg.
