Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Generalist Game Programmers to join our talented team. As a Snowmie programmer, you will utilize your exceptional skills in C++ and C# to help our client studios bring their games to realization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with client studios to deliver high-quality game development projects
  • Design, implement, and debug game features, ensuring seamless gameplay experiences
  • Develop and maintain game toolsets and pipelines, optimizing runtime performance
  • Analyze and optimize code for improved efficiency and scalability
  • Work closely with designers to implement creative visions, leveraging your expertise in game engines like Unity 3D and Unreal Engine
  • Build strong relationships with programming peers, both in-house and globally, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Support team members to achieve project goals, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in game development, with a strong focus on C++ and C# programming
  • Advanced understanding of game engines, including Unity 3D and Unreal Engine
  • Experience working in large codebases, with a focus on code analysis and optimization
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for vector and matrix math, algorithms, and design patterns
  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience

This is a remote position, with candidates required to reside in the Ottawa/Gatineau region, within an hour's commute from the studio.
