Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Building Blocks Contracting. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems. Your expertise in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials will be essential in delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.

Work Environment:

- Work must be completed at the physical location, with no option to work remotely.
- Outdoors work site environment.
- Construction work setting, including various locations and renovation projects.

Requirements:

- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry and construction.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
