Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that meet the company's technology needs.
Key Responsibilities- Software Development: Analyze, code, test, implement, and update existing or new software and applications to find solutions to the company's technology needs.
- Team Leadership: Mentor other peer engineers with workflow and complex software solution building with your skills and experience.
- Business Requirements: Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team.
- Project Management: Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design, and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Technical Expertise: Ensure that the team is up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools, and provide opportunities for training and development.
- Regulatory Compliance: Lead the IT Development function, including IT design process and peer review with IREN Partners, and manage various external relationships with regulatory authorities, agencies, and third-party providers.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience working in a Linux-based environment, with a strong background in leading development teams and working with cryptocurrency mining hardware.
- Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading, scaling, and mentoring development teams, in-depth understanding of Bitmain S19 Antminer hardware architecture and components, and proven experience with theoretical/mathematical models in the ML/AI/LLM space.
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computing Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent schooling combined with experience will be considered.
- Tools and Technologies: Proficient with monitoring/data collection tools, configuration management, and automation tools, such as Ansible or Puppet, and working knowledge of Source Code Management, Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions (GitLab, Jenkins, or other).
- Salary: Salary from: $175,000 (increases depending on experience)
- Benefits: Short-term and Long-term Incentive Programs, Extended Health and Dental Benefits, 3 weeks paid vacation, Casual work attire, Onsite gym, and Relocation assistance (if necessary).
