About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at CHARCOAL BIRYANI-TURKISH INDIAN. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of ethnic dishes, including East Indian cuisine, to meet the demands of our restaurant.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and restaurant employees to provide excellent customer service and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding role, requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
