Senior Fire Protection Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role involves project management, developing technical work products, and contributing to business and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide fire protection engineering services across various facility types, with a focus on the Dallas market.
- Collaborate on strategies to establish and grow market share in the local Dallas area.
- Conduct building and fire code reviews, plan reviews, and site visits.
- Classify hazardous chemicals and prepare hazardous materials inventory statements for industrial properties.
- Prepare and peer review technical reports related to projects.
- Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based design approaches, and alternative solutions to address client design challenges.
- Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor junior staff members.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
- Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and Revit.
Compensation Package
The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses, depending on experience and qualifications. The compensation package includes a sign-on bonus, 401(k) with company match, competitive PTO, flextime Fridays, and more.
