Job Title: Labourer, Dry Cleaning

We are seeking a Labourer, Dry Cleaning to join our team at Nettoyeur Dumas. As a Labourer, Dry Cleaning, you will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines. You will also hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads. You will also work in a hot, noisy, and wet/damp environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles
  • Assemble and bag finished articles
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met
  • Use hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments and other articles
