About the Role: As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the project plan through the remaining phases, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. You will be responsible for coordinating Ministry resources and contractors, developing feasibility studies, business cases, and treasury board submissions, as well as providing risk analysis and risk management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams, including core business staff, professional employees, middle managers, and private sector contractors
  • Develop and implement project charters, master project plans, and coordinate Ministry resources and contractors
  • Provide effective communication and stakeholder management, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage change requests, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., information technology, engineering, or other technology-related field)
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Project Manager for IT projects, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Possession of certifications such as PMI – Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
