This is an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry, working in a luxury boutique hotel setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all laundry bags are transported from room areas to the laundry room in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including floors, banisters, and other high-traffic zones.
  • Restock supplies and ensure that all housekeeping areas are well-stocked and equipped.
  • Transport laundry bags from room areas to the laundry room, using a linen cart as needed.
  • Clean public areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, washing, and polishing floors, banisters, walls, and other areas as required.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Clean windows in hallways and other areas as requested.
  • Clean washrooms and meeting rooms to the highest standards.
  • Empty garbage from Room Attendant carts and offices daily.
  • Stock all housekeeping areas with supplies, including linens, cleaning products, and other essentials.
  • Ensure that all light bulbs are replaced in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • WHMIS training is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds and push/pull linen carts.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
