We are currently seeking an Intermediate or Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Toronto, Ontario. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from structural analyses and designs to project management and team leadership.

Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at Art Engineering Inc., you will be responsible for:

  • Completing structural analyses, calculations, and designs for various projects
  • Preparing structural drawings and technical reports while peer reviewing the work of fellow team members
  • Conducting site inspections and field reviews
  • Managing communications with contractors, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams throughout projects
  • Managing projects to ensure schedule milestones and budget constraints are met

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Ontario, preferably with structural rehabilitation, restoration, and/or maintenance projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (OBC, NBCC, MTO Manuals, etc.)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • A valid 'G' driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for travel to project sites
  • Professional Engineer Designation (P.Eng) issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario (or ability to apply within 1 year of start date)
