Sarata Inc is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail. As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for creating manufacturing instructions, repairing and maintaining machinery, and assisting in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.

You will also assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications, as well as designing moulds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Additionally, you will estimate costs and materials, prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications, and prepare contracts and tenders.

In this role, you will work closely with the management team to develop and implement maintenance programs and operate mechanical plants. You will also test machines and equipment to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
