As a Technical Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in enforcing the company's safety strategy and developing methodologies to improve safety engineering activities.

Job Description
  1. Ensure that safety engineering activities are executed in accordance with the company's process, applicable industry standards, and best practices.
  2. Perform hazard identification studies, hazard analyses, and safety analyses to identify potential risks and mitigate them.
  3. Define safety requirements, analyze design compliance, and evaluate safety principles to ensure the highest level of safety.
  4. Review safety evidence and produce corresponding Safety Case artifacts to support regulatory compliance.
  5. Provide technical safety leadership to the project safety engineering team, promoting the company's safety policy and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior technical role in train control systems.
  • Knowledge of railway signaling systems, train control systems, fixed and moving block signaling principles, relay-based and/or computer-based interlocking design.
  • Good understanding of systems engineering, software engineering, and functional safety.
  • Detailed knowledge of system safety lifecycle, system requirements definition, safety design concepts, and safety analysis.
  • Extensive experience with safety standards, best practices, safety methods, and techniques.
