Drilling Operations Assistant

Innovative Drilling, a leading construction company within the Municipal Group of Companies, is seeking a skilled Drillers Assistant/Anchor Grouter to join its operations in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will work in the field as part of a team, assisting with drilling operations and anchor grouting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform safety and maintenance checks on equipment
- Set up equipment, hoses, pumps, and drill rods
- Handle drill steel and casing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform equipment maintenance or repairs
- Assist the driller with hoses, drill steel, cuttings, and other tasks
- Heavy lifting is involved
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work in various environments and be a good team player
- Forklift/Elevated work platform ticket considered an asset
Working Conditions:
The Drillers Assistant/Anchor Grouter will primarily work in the field, with some shop-related tasks. Field work will require the use of minimum PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, reflective vest, etc.). Other PPE may be necessary, depending on the work site environment.
