Job Summary
Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacy professional to join our team as a Pharmacy Instructor. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs to students, evaluating their progress, and maintaining currency of practice in the field of pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver lesson plans, assignments, and lectures to students in a classroom, practicum, or lab setting
- Evaluate student progress through exams, assignments, and observations
- Record student progress and provide feedback to students
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry and educational requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies to secure appropriate experience for students
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in pharmacy, with a license to practice in Saskatchewan and at least two years of recent experience in a hospital or community pharmacy. You will also need to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to instruct and evaluate students.
