Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe and administer medications, as well as order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Deliver babies and provide prenatal and postnatal care, as well as provide emergency care when needed.
- Advise patients on healthy habits, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Report births, deaths, and contagious diseases to government authorities, as required.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in family medicine.
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
