Job Overview

The Associate Director, Commercial Financing role is a key position in our commercial mortgage division. As a seasoned professional, you will contribute to the production and development of our commercial mortgage portfolio by analyzing financial documents, ensuring consistency with internal policies, and providing oversight to analysts.

  • Provide support to analysts, including underwriting, credit applications, and loan commitments.
  • Manage complex transactions from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with clients and prospects to gather due diligence and recommend mortgage solutions.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing financial information on commercial properties to determine loan size, terms, conditions, and pricing.
  • Reviewing third-party reports to ensure compliance with investor requirements.
  • Preparing loan summaries and credit documents for approval.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CMHC underwriting, commercial real estate lending, and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and laws.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
