Document Preparation Specialist

Job Summary:
Randstad Canada is currently hiring a Document Preparation Specialist for one of our renowned clients in the document storage field. We have a full-time work opportunity for people who have a minimum of 6 months of heavy general labor experience in Canada, have been in Canada for more than 5 years (as a prerequisite to reliability clearance), and can undergo a reliability clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in a warehouse environment lifting and moving boxes to and from the doc prep area.
Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning and document preparation.
Scanning hardcopy files to electronic images.
Assuring a quality image and performing quality control functions.
Performing document preparation tasks, including indexing, packaging, and release of product.
Following production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking.
Adhering to Imaging Center guidelines of maintaining a clean work environment.
Performing scanning tasks on complex conversions utilizing specialized equipment, high-speed equipment, and/or flatbed scanning.
Requirements:
Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.
Must possess strong problem-solving ability, acceptance of change, and long durations of project assignments.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a data entry/imaging environment preferred.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
Strong understanding of imaging quality measurement techniques and process.
Understanding and ability to perform data entry with speed and accuracy, release, and packaging functions.
Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to detect, document, and correct quality issues.
