Job Title: Geophysicist

We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist to join our team at Dejour Energy. As a Geophysicist, you will play a key role in conducting oceanographic research programs and expeditions to extend our knowledge of the physical, chemical, and biological properties and functioning of oceans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct oceanographic research programs and expeditions to gather data and extend our knowledge of ocean properties and functioning.
  • Plan, direct, and participate in analyses of geological, geochemical, and geophysical survey data, well logs, and other test results, maps, notes, and cross sections.
  • Plan, direct, and participate in geological, geochemical, and geophysical field studies, drilling, and geological testing programs.
  • Direct and monitor the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing, and well surveys.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check.
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and team player skills.
