Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to join our team at e-spot Billiards & Arcade. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage the workload of sales staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop the skills of new staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the needs of our customers.
- Order Merchandise: Manage the ordering and receipt of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing way.
- Authorize Returns: Handle customer returns and exchanges, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the service they receive.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring that staff are available to meet customer demand.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, selling merchandise and promoting products to customers.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve Issues: Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Organize Inventory: Manage the storage and organization of merchandise, ensuring that stock is easily accessible and that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing way.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of sales staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll administration, ensuring that staff are paid accurately and on time.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to staff to help them improve their performance.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking, air-conditioned.
- Work Setting: Retail service establishment, retail business.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Outlook.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check, credit check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, excellent written communication, initiative, judgement, ability to multitask.
