**Job Summary**

Yukon University is seeking a skilled Welding Instructor to join our team at the Dawson Campus. As a key member of our Trades department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in the Welding Pre-Apprenticeship program.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct both theoretical and practical lessons to equip students with the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in welding.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students and industry partners.
  • Provide student advising and support to ensure students achieve their academic and career goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a comprehensive welding program that meets the needs of our students and industry partners.

**Requirements**

  • A Red Seal Journeyperson Certification in Welding is required.
  • First Aid and WHMIS certification are also required.
  • Significant relevant teaching experience is an asset.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the welding industry and be able to communicate effectively with students and industry partners.
