About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Sierra Space. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating cyber threats to our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) across various system environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats to information systems.
  • Develop, document, and update System Security Plans (SSPs) in accordance with RMF guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with NIST standards and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and establish security controls and identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Lead security assessment and authorization (A&A) activities, including conducting security control assessments.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Provide guidance and support to system owners and administrators on cybersecurity best practices and RMF processes.
  • Participate in security auditing and continuous monitoring activities to maintain system security posture.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced cybersecurity professional who is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies. You will have a strong background in cybersecurity risk management, threat analysis, and compliance.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field or 10+ years of relevant experience. A higher-level degree may substitute for experience, and related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Microsoft platforms, data security administration principles, and familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, and U.S. Citizenship status is required for employment.
