FPGA Design Engineer - Aversan

Aversan is seeking a highly skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our team. As an FPGA Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electronic hardware systems in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lab Testing and Characterization: Conduct thorough lab tests on components, generate reports, and analyze results to ensure optimal performance.
  • FPGA Design and Verification: Design and verify FPGAs using Verilog/VHDL, ensuring efficient resource utilization and optimal performance.
  • Code Optimization: Optimize FPGA code to minimize resources, ensuring seamless integration with other system components.
  • Verification and Debugging: Verify FPGAs using latest tools, debug issues on the hardware platform, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Micro-Architecture and Design: Invent, document, and implement micro-architecture and design details for new product features, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Physical Implementation: Physically implement FPGA targets for emulation, ensuring timing closure and debug.
  • System Integration: Integrate processor-based SOC (Target ASIC or FPGA), ensuring seamless integration with other system components.
Qualifications:
  • Hardware Integration and Test Experience: Proven experience with hardware-based integration and test of ASIC/FPGA designs.
  • Hardware Verification Languages: Proficiency with hardware verification languages: System Verilog, System Verilog Assertions.
  • Test Planning and Development: Ability to create test plans and self-checking and reusable testbenches from scratch.
  • Revision Control Systems: Experience with revision control systems: svn, cvs, git.
  • FPGA Tools and Embedded Software: Experience with Xilinx FPGA tools (Vivado, Vitis, HLS), embedded software development, FPGA logic design (VHDL/Verilog).
  • Networking and Data Interfaces: Familiarity with Ethernet networking, data interfaces, and Xilinx architecture/platforms.
