We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Assistant to join our team at Alliance Lumber Partners Ltd. The ideal candidate will have no degree, certificate, or diploma, but will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist carpenters with various tasks, including construction, maintenance, and repair.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Legal ability to work in Canada.
  • Support for newcomers and refugees, including foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for youths, including on-the-job training tailored to their needs.
  • Support for Veterans, including mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Support for Indigenous people, including mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Support for mature workers, including hiring policies that discourage age discrimination and mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
  • Support for visible minorities, including hiring policies that discourage discrimination and anonymizing the hiring process.

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week and English as the primary language of communication.
