At National Veterinary Associates, we are committed to providing final-year veterinary technician students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Our Veterinary Technician Practicum Program is designed to help students develop their clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology, and more.

As part of our program, students work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to enhance their communication abilities with medical teams and clients. This prepares them for a successful career as an RVT. The practicum can range from two to eight weeks, allowing students to fit their schedule and career goals.

We also offer eligible students a stipend to help with travel expenses, ensuring that they can focus on learning without financial worries. At NVA Canada, diversity and inclusion are an important part of our everyday reality. We strive to foster an open and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident to be themselves and reach their full potential.
