About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to join our IT Product Delivery team in Saskatoon or Regina. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new applications using OutSystems to support our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy new applications using OutSystems
  • Collaborate with the development team to modernize and replace existing systems and processes
  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills to investigate and fix bugs in code
  • Participate in Agile project management best practices to improve existing processes and development activities
  • Collaborate with project team members to support release planning and ensure accurate information collection
  • Actively participate in code reviews to ensure application development activities align with industry standards
  • Prioritize continuous learning to stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and development best practices

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience working in an Application Development role, and a minimum of 3 years of recent experience working with the OutSystems Platform
  • Knowledge of modern programming practices, common testing tools, and processes
  • Knowledge of Agile development processes, experience using.NET or object-oriented programming (OOP) languages, and experience using low-code platforms would be considered an asset
