Formulation Scientist

We are seeking a skilled Formulation Scientist to join our team at Charles River Laboratories in Laval, Quebec. As a key member of our formulation team, you will be responsible for preparing drug formulations for animal studies.

• Prepare and formulate drugs for animal testing purposes;
• Perform various laboratory tasks, including reception, verification, and storage of test items, chemicals, and products;
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as needed.

• Develop and execute formulation plans to meet project requirements;
• Conduct quality control checks on formulated products to ensure accuracy and consistency;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any formulation-related issues that may arise during projects.

• AEC or DEC in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field;
• Proven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a formulation role;
• Strong understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles and regulations;
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and software used in formulation processes.
