About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Gottardo Group of Companies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analyses, prepare accurate estimates, and review project specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, subtrades, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Tender and Proposal Management: Assist in the tender and quantity take-off process, and work with the Chief Estimator to close tenders and proposals.
  • Project Transition: Manage the transition of successful project estimating to the project management team for execution.
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform other duties as required to support the success of our construction projects.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 years of estimating experience within the GTA.
  • Estimating Experience: Experience estimating projects in the scope of $500K - $1M.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Construction Knowledge: Knowledge of construction materials and methods.
  • Certification: Relevant certification or diploma in Construction Management and Estimating.
