Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC.

About the Role:

This is a casual opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech language pathology services to patients in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) standards of practice and Fraser Health's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
  • Collaborate with interprofessional care teams to provide patient-centered care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
  • Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC)
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Experience working with adult and pediatric populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
