Framer Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Framer Carpenter to join our team at Velocity Enterprises Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
- Assemble and join materials to create complex structures
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
- Estimate costs and materials for projects
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
- Provides physical accessibility accommodations
- Provides visual and auditory accessibility accommodations
- Participates in programs that support persons with disabilities
- Offers mentorship and coaching opportunities for persons with disabilities
- Provides awareness training to create a welcoming work environment
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
