Job Description

The RN Supervisor will be responsible for coaching and mentoring nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery and promoting a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with inter-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality person-centered care through comprehensive assessments and timely documentation.\
  • C Coordinate care plans and collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.\
  • P Perform administrative duties, including documentation and record-keeping.\
  • R Respond to client concerns and investigate incidents, taking appropriate corrective action.\
  • E Establish effective relationships with clients, families, and staff.\
  • O Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure safe, timely, and effective service delivery.\
  • M Maintain a safe environment for clients and staff.\
  • R Records patients' medical information and vital signs.\

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A health profession designation with RN registration.\
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized school.\
  • One to two years of relevant work experience, preferably in long-term care.\
  • Supervisory experience and gerontology certification are considered assets.\\[/
