We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Berachain, a high-performance, EVM-compatible, Layer 1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK.

Role Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in decentralized application development, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces that seamlessly interact with blockchain networks. Your expertise in frontend technologies, TypeScript, and the Next.js framework with Tailwind CSS will be instrumental in creating immersive and user-friendly interfaces for our decentralized applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement user interfaces for decentralized applications using your proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Seamlessly integrate Ethereum functionality into frontend applications to facilitate interactions with the Ethereum blockchain.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces that enhance user engagement.
  • Develop responsive web applications that provide consistent experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Implement efficient state management solutions to handle application data and changes effectively.
  • Maintain high coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement testing strategies to ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Work closely with backend engineers, blockchain experts, and other cross-functional teams to align frontend development with the broader product vision and identify system requirements.
  • Create interactive data visualizations and dashboards to present blockchain insights and interactions.
  • Optimize frontend performance to ensure fast loading times and smooth user interactions.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation for frontend architecture, components, and development processes.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in building responsive web applications using TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience integrating Ethereum functionality into frontend applications to enable interaction with the Ethereum blockchain.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Understanding of state management libraries and tools (e.g., Redux, MobX) to manage application data effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills for working in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Frontend development, with a focus on building interfaces for decentralized applications.
  • Attention to detail; analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
