Casual On-Call Position for Speech Language Pathology Services

As a Casual On-Call Speech Language Pathologist at PLEA Community Services, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver community-based services and specialized supported homes to children, youth, adults, and families facing significant challenges in their lives.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Screening, testing, assessing, and diagnosing participants with speech and communication impairment disorders
- Providing speech training for participants with communication disorders caused by cerebral palsy, surgical removal of the larynx, hearing deficiencies, neurodevelopmental disabilities, or other impairments
- Counseling and guiding participants with communication and speech disorders and their families, teachers, or employers
This role requires the ability to work independently, take initiative, make sound decisions in high-pressure situations, and be accountable for results. You should also possess excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances.
