We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Hyderabad Cafe.
- Job Type: Permanent
- Duration: 1-2 years
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen, overseeing food preparation, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to a high standard and that the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have everything needed to run smoothly
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a chef or in a similar role
- Possession of relevant qualifications, such as a culinary degree or certification
- Demonstrable leadership skills, with experience of training and supervising staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
