Fish Processing Worker

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fish Processing Worker to join our team at Sea Star Seafoods Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our fish products.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparation: Cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing.
- Sorting and Packaging: Sort fish according to species, weight, and destination, and pack fish in ice.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean machines and immediate work areas, and perform corrective machine adjustments as required.
- Quality Control: Check products and packaging for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate machines to can, bag, box, or otherwise package fish and seafood products.
- Inventory Management: Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
- Work Site Environment: The work site environment is cold, wet, and outdoors.
- Physical Demands: The role requires repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn is essential.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
