About the Opportunity

As a Health Care Social Worker, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, working collaboratively to provide holistic care across the primary to quaternary care continuum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with patients/clients in a dynamic and interactive process, focusing on their strengths and coping strategies.
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to inform treatment plans.
  • Foster effective relationships with community partners and organizations to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work from a recognized university.
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers.
  • Two years of post-BSW clinical experience, preferably in adult community mental health.
  • Knowledge of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
