Job Description

J. Coggar Construction Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpenter Helper to join our team on industrial and commercial projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople with various tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist carpenters and other tradespeople with various tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
  • Operate power tools safely and efficiently, including circular saws, drills, and sanders.
  • Perform manual labour tasks, such as moving materials, cleaning work areas, and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Work Environment

You will be working outdoors at heights, in various locations, on industrial and commercial projects. The work environment is fast-paced, physically demanding, and requires attention to safety protocols.
