Aerospace Engineering Project Manager Role in Mirabel

This role focuses on delivering project management expertise to support the aerospace engineering team. Based in Mirabel, Quebec, this position offers a unique blend of project planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
About the JobWe are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Mirabel, QC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering and project management, with experience working with MS Project and Google Suite.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining schedules and plans for engineering activities;
- SUPPORTING R&O initiatives by creating risk registers, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation plans;
- Providing mitigation plans for assigned projects;
- Conducting workload vs capacity analysis;
- Leading and controlling project scope for each phase;
- Identifying and reporting issues;
- Participating in problem-solving and recovery plans;
- Driving projects through governance and internal change management processes;
- Monitoring and driving deliverables, as well as dashboard updates;
- Preparing detailed reports on project performance, including cost, schedule, scope, and quality;
- Serving as the key point of contact between team members, departments, and suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Aerospace engineering knowledge;
- Project management skills;
- Experience with MS Project and Google Suite;
- Stakeholder management and communication;
- Data analysis and reporting;
- Soft skills, including attention to detail, adaptability, and time management;
- Proficiency in French and English.
Candidates can expect a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, welfare, retirement, and paid time off.
