We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Legendary Leaders and Explorers Childcare Centre Chilliwack Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services, creating engaging learning experiences, and promoting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs
  • Design and implement child-care programs that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress
  • Engage children in various activities, such as storytelling, singing, and craft-making
  • Guide children in developing healthy habits, including eating, dressing, and toileting
  • Monitor children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents and supervisors
  • Establish behavior guidelines and maintain a safe environment that promotes children's health and well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certification
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
