Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a competitive offer that reflects the complexity and importance of the work.

Job Description

This position involves providing technical guidance and support to junior consultants and senior engineers. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects both locally and internationally, leveraging your expertise in water resources consulting. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical solutions and designs related to mine water resources engineering;
  • Working with senior engineers to develop hydrologic assessments, water balances, and dam breach analysis;
  • Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to knowledge sharing;
  • Leading multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with colleagues across Canada and globally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in water resources consulting projects;
  • A valid professional designation in Ontario (P.Eng.) or actively pursuing designation;
  • An unrestricted full Class G Driver's License and access to a vehicle;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD;
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills;
  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM).
