Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Leader to join our team at Brambles. This is a key role that will be responsible for leading the end-to-end strategic sourcing and category management processes for Indirect Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a 3-year strategic plan for Indirect Procurement, aligning with the Americas regional business needs.
  • Lead a team of Sourcing & Category Managers in creating and executing category strategies, managing complex programs, and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Establish specifications, processes, policies, governance, and procedures to manage demand for assigned categories.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish needs, define priorities, deliver value, and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement supplier performance and relationship programs, and support the implementation of global transformation platforms.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and category management.
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving procurement processes.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to articulate the regional supply market and develop executable plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead at senior levels.
  • Global mentality and collaborative approach, with the ability to work across different geographies, cultures, and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CIPS or CPSM certification (or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or a related field.

Language: English (Essential), Spanish (Desirable).
