Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food and beverage experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize dishes, and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Restock supplies, including condiments and linens, and maintain inventory levels
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a food service environment, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
