Job Title: Tooling Inspector

JASP Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Tooling Inspector to join our team. As a Tooling Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by inspecting and testing tooling and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test tooling and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility
  • Quick learner and ability to adapt to new situations
