Job Summary:

The Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates, and recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff and/or volunteers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in construction project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates to stakeholders
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support project operations
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control to ensure high-quality work
  • Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Plan and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability
  • Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential project risks
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction project coordination
  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
