About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team at CARSTAR. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining your workspace.
  • Repair and Refinish Vehicles: Use your expertise to repair and refinish damaged vehicles, including replacing front end components, body components, doors, and frame, as well as repairing or replacing interior components.
  • Operate Equipment: Operate soldering equipment, use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, and straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
  • Work with Team: Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and meet customer expectations.
  • Meet Quality Standards: Ensure all repairs meet CARSTAR's quality standards and customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in auto body repair.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
