About the Job



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relaxation Massage Therapist to join our team at Samya Spa. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage therapy services to our clients, ensuring their comfort, relaxation, and satisfaction.



Job Description:




  • Consult with other health care professionals: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans that cater to our clients' unique needs and preferences.
  • Administer massage techniques: Utilize various soft tissue manipulation, relaxation, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain, and lower-grade mobilization techniques to provide a holistic massage experience.
  • Apply pressure and techniques: Skillfully apply finger and hand pressure to specific points on the body to target areas of tension and stress.
  • Explain procedures and benefits: Clearly communicate the benefits, risks, and procedures associated with each treatment to ensure our clients are informed and comfortable throughout the process.
  • Maintain records: Accurately document treatments provided, including client feedback and any necessary follow-up actions.
  • Suggest home care instructions: Offer personalized advice on self-care techniques and products to promote continued relaxation and wellness at home.
  • Massage and knead muscles: Expertly massage and knead muscles and soft tissues to release tension and promote deep relaxation.
  • Provide therapeutic foot massage and facials: Treat clients to rejuvenating foot massages and facials, utilizing specialized techniques to leave skin feeling refreshed and revitalized.
  • Body care and treatments: Provide a range of body care treatments, including relaxation massage, Swedish massage, and other specialized therapies tailored to individual needs.


Required Skills and Qualifications:




  • Basic security clearance: Hold a valid basic security clearance to work in sensitive environments.
  • Manual dexterity: Possess excellent manual dexterity, allowing for precise and controlled movements during treatments.
  • Physically demanding: Be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and repetitive movements.
  • Client focus: Prioritize client comfort, satisfaction, and well-being above all else.
  • Excellent communication skills: Develop strong interpersonal relationships with clients, colleagues, and management through effective verbal and written communication.
  • Interpersonal awareness: Demonstrate empathy and understanding in interactions with clients, staff, and external partners.
