We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Application Administrator to maintain and upgrade our network infrastructure, as well as provide day-to-day administration of computer hardware. This role requires providing prompt and effective support for network issues, telecommunications, and workstation-related concerns.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining network performance by monitoring and analyzing system activity, optimizing performance, troubleshooting network issues, and escalating problems as required. They will also diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including replacing defective components.
This position involves assisting in the maintenance of all network hardware, software, printers, phones, RF hand scanners, laptops, and other IT equipment. Ensuring the company's 3CX phone system remains in optimal working condition is also a key responsibility.
In addition, the selected individual will prepare users by designing and conducting training programs, as well as providing reference materials and ongoing support. Staying up to date with industry developments is essential for this role, which includes participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and engaging with industry organizations.
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and protecting the organization's assets is crucial. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Industry-standard certifications such as A+, Network+, MCP, etc., are also highly valued.
Hands-on knowledge of current Microsoft software, including Windows and Office applications, is necessary. Proficiency in systems such as LINBIT DRBD, Open-ERP, ECI M1, Warehouse Management Systems, Anti-virus software (Sophos, Avast), Network security, Office 365, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, Juniper Networking, Cisco Wi-Fi, and VoIP phone systems (Yealink) is considered a strong asset.
